We had the opportunity to be a part of the Oscar's Red Carpet Viewing Party at The Tuck Room Tavern with food catered by award winning Chef, Sherry Yard. If you are familiar with the game Clue then you'll love this establishment.
We were greeted with a delicious fruity champagne drink and of course had our photo taken on the "Red Carpet."
We were seated in the "Den," a cute little nook in the corner of the restaurant with high top tables.
There were TV's positioned all over the restaurant for perfect viewing of the award show.
Before all the food started pouring out, we were given a pallet cleanser which was an avocado cream, with a beet and crouton. All of the remaining dishes had fun names that related to movies that were nominated for awards.
First up were hot dogs and mini sliders. Both were incredible. For our entree we had the choice between Lamb & Fish so obviously we got both. We really enjoyed the lamb, it was perfectly cooked.
To finish off the meal we were given an amazing dessert that was red velvet heaven.
It's not often you get to see the chef who is whipping up your meal, as they're working hard to make sure everything is perfect. However, Chef Sherry Yard was so attentive the whole time we were there. Always checking in to make sure everything was cooked to perfection.
We thought this years Oscars was so much better than last years. Jimmy Kimmel just killed it. Our favorite part of the whole award show was Gary from the Hollywood tour guide bus tour. He really gave us a good laugh. Especially when he took Mahershala Ali's Oscar award right out of his hands to take a picture of himself with it.
The Tuck Room Tavern is definitely a spot you want to check out for a date night or even a girls night out. We can't wait to go back and check out the brunch menu!
